Artemist Bespoke is for clients who want a single work made for them — without the scaffolding of an installation, the planning of a consultancy project or the wait of a hospitality commission. One piece. Scoped, made, delivered.
How it works
Send a brief. We'll come back personally.
Most Bespoke pieces begin with three things: a room, a feeling and a wall. Tell us where the work will live, what you'd like it to do for the space and roughly the scale you're imagining.
If the brief is clear, we'll come back with a written scope, a proposed treatment and a price. If it isn't, we'll suggest a short call to talk it through. Lead time depends on the artist.

Over the years the studio has worked with established Indian artists, among them Paresh Maiti and Bose Krishnamachari, and has sourced and placed works by modern Indian masters including M.F. Husain and S.H. Raza, through established galleries and consultants.
Portraits
We make portraits in the studio.
They're among the most personal commissions we take, and we keep them in-house for that reason — every step from sketch to finishing happens under our roof, in our hands.
Gather a few good photographs, write a few lines about who the person is and tell us where the piece will live. The rest happens on the call.
Bespoke Gifting
Bespoke pieces, as gifts.
For milestones, weddings and personal occasions, we make customised single works — scoped, framed and delivered to the recipient with a quiet sign-off from the studio.
For corporates and large events, we work on bulk gifting programmes — multiples of a single piece, or a small composed series across recipients.
The making
Bespoke clients buy a single piece. They also buy the making of it.
You'll see the piece three times before it arrives. Each update is short, photographed properly and signed. Never automated.

A hand sketch or composition draft, around week two.

The mid-stage.
A photograph from the studio or the artist's workroom, halfway through the lead time.

The finishing.
A photograph of the completed piece, a week before delivery. Before dispatch, final approvals are taken.

A few things worth knowing
The details.
- Lead timeDepends on the artist and the scale. We confirm in writing once the brief is scoped, and we honour what we accept.
- DeliveryAcross India, billed on actuals and confirmed at scope.
- PaymentFifty percent on sign-off. Fifty percent on approval before dispatch.
- Briefs we declinePhotographic reproductions and brand-logo work sit outside what we make well. Copying another artist's work is something we decline outright.
- DesignersDesigners commissioning for a client belong in The Edit, not Bespoke.
